It was a very special day on the 2nd October. It was Hannes's birthday. He took the day off to spend with Jared and I and so we decided to drive out to the mountains. We drove to Kananskis and took a random road up into the mountains. It was amazing. The higher we got the colder it got until eventually we were in a full snow storm!! This was so strange since down below where we had just come from wasn't even cold enough for a jacket.
We saw our first wild Moose on the side of the road. You can see from the picture how the snow was coming down. We managed to get a few pictures of the view by taking turns at jumping out the car and taking a shot. We had to do it this way since we were both in short sleeve shirts ha ha ha!!! Let's just say that snow and summer attire are not an intelligent combination. :o)

LOL, that really isn't intelligent! Love the last photo with the mist over the water.
It must be funny having the extreme changes in weather. Beautiful pictures!
I hope Hannes had a lovely day, it certainly looks like it. It's my Gran, friend and dad's birthday on the second...a day for special people it seems :)
The place looks stunning!!
Happy Belated Birthday Hannes...
